Stollen (one of my favourite German desserts) is usually served during Christmas and is a cake made of dried fruit and powdered with icing sugar. It’s almost the same as the marzipan cakes you also commonly see in Germany. If you ever go to Germany during Christmas, buy one!
Springerle, German cookies (but most likely referred to as biscuits) that are pressed into a mold and dried before baking. As they are usually very tough, they are served mostly with drinks and during Christmastime
